Preaching To The Choir is my personal one-woman consultancy firm. I conceptualize and execute an array of projects within my areas of expertise for various companies and organisations – as well as initiate my own projects, often alongside creative friends.

2014 – Present
Scenario Magazine is an award-winning magazin on trends, ideas, visions, and possible futures. It was established in 2010 and is developed by futurists from the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies. I am the head of the SCEANARIO Advisory Board whose role it is to provide management feedback and be a sparring partner for the Editor-in-chief in the overall development of the magazine.

A full-time position teaching under-graduate ‘Entrepreneurship Design’ students at the Design/Business faculty at The Copenhagen School of Design and Technology – a 3000 student institution that balances theory and praxis equally. My primary subjects are Culture & Trends, Innovation, Marketing & Communication, Design and Creative Entrepreneurship

TED is a global nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. TEDxCopenhagen is a platform for “Ideas Worth Spreading”. I am Artistic Director, Co-Organizer and part of the TEDxCopenhagen board.

2011 – 2012
ArtRebels creates, promotes and supports creative projects – both commercial and artistic. I became a part ArtRebels in 2006 and has since become Partner and Creative Director, and have recently stepped down from a leading role to teach at The Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.

2007 – 2011
As one of four Partners I was part of running the overall strategy and business development of the company. As the Creative Director my main role was developing and executing concepts, campaigns and projects within the ArtRebels Agency and being the Head of Documentation at TrailerPark Festival. I launched all of ArtRebels’ social media platforms and was the blog Editor-in-Chief for several years.

Cultural Producer at Playground Europe
2008 – 2008
Playground Europe is the title of the application and bid for the Swedish city of Lund to become the European Capital of Culture in 2014. This large-scale EU-project is part of an overall European political strategy in which culture is a prominent tool for achieving a common European understanding between nations. I did eight months permanent consultancy on the project primarily with concept development, project management and international coordination.

Lecturer at 46H Multimedia Design
2006 – 2008
A full-time position teaching undergraduate New Media Design students and leading the Visualization- & Concept Development department. I taught everything from practical use of graphic design programs, web design, photography, digital video production, blogging and podcasting – to design, communication and new media theory.

Teacher & Producer at The School of TV
2004 – Present
The School of Television in Filmbyen, Copenhagen is a collaboration between educators and a broad range of institutions and media professionals within the Danish media industry (lead by serial entrepreneur Lars Lundbye), where I teach and produce workshops for young media-students.

EDUCATION

Cultural Producer (MA) in Sweden
2004 – 2006
A two-year postgraduate Masters degree, which provides the practical tools and the theoretical background needed for analyzing and producing cultural productions. The fundamental idea of the programme is to analyze, initiate, develop and produce cultural projects from the concept stage to a finished production.
Thesis: Virtual Spaces of Identity (New York).

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Australia

2003 – 2004
A bachelor degree with a major in Screen Studies achieved from both the Arts faculty and the Computer Science faculty at Deakin University resulting in uniquely combined competences spanning from New Media and Experimental Video to Documentary Filmmaking and Cultural Production.

The Multimedia Design Study is a higher education programme, dealing with digital media. The study is a two-year programme focused on Communication, Business and Organisation, Multimedia Design, Interaction and Digital Video Production.
