ARTREBELS NEW MEDIA is lead by ArtRebels partners Mette Ohlendorff and Carla Cammilla Hjort.
Carla Cammilla Hjort is founder of ArtRebels.com and ArtRebels Rec and the daily director of same. Her background is rooted in the creative underground of Copenhagen, where she has spend the last 15 years making films, producing music, DJ´ing & event making and promotion. Besides she has been the owner of the art, fashion and music shop “Dullen & Dyken”.
Carla Cammilla has a natural talent for seeing and seizing new trends, understanding conceptual thinking and analyze company needs. Her natural gift of seeing opportunities and perhaps more important, to execute them, has put many of her projects on both national and international maps. She is extremely well connected in the danish creative scenes and is continually managing to gather them in the ArtRebels “collective”. Carla Cammilla is also known for her way of leading and inspiring the people around her.
Mette Ohlendorff is a New Media Designer who use social media, web 2.0, graphic design, photography, video and the World Wide Web as her playground. Mette is a passionate teacher who loves to inspire and guide people to do great things and create spectacular projects. Her background spans widely within the world of digital communication and her expertise ranges from practical and conceptual, to strategic and leading roles within complex projects of both commercial and artistic character.
Mette has previously worked as a producer at the TV-School and Zentropa, a Visualisation & Concept development teacher, documentary film editor, web designer and is heavily involved in large, international cultural projects and is currently editor and contributor to a variety of blogs as well as creative director of ARTREBELS WEB + COMMUNICATIONS. Mette holds a New Media design degree from Denmark, a Bachelor of Arts from Australia, a Master of Cultural Production from Sweden and created her thesis-project in New York.
These two fiery ladies combined is the perfect mix… a cocktail of progressive New Media knowledge and Creative Entrepreneurship!
